As a Mental Health Professional, you will:
Provide clinical services including diagnostic assessment, group psychotherapy, group education and brief individual therapy.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team (addiction counselors, wellness & spiritual care professionals and medical staff).
Provide training experiences to predoctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral psychology residents.
Have opportunities to provide education to various internal and external groups
Master's or Doctoral Degree
Mental Health Licensure (LICSW, LP, LPCC, LMFT)
One or more years of experience providing therapy in a mental health/chemical dependency treatment environment.
Two years freedom from chemical use problems
Current state alcohol/drug counseling licensure
One year or more of experience conducting group psychotherapy.
At least one year experience facilitating group therapy
Experience with brief therapy interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia or Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherap
Anxiety Disorder/Phobias, Chemical Dependency, Co-Dependency, Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Depression, Intervention, Substance Abuse, Suicide Prevention, Treatment Planning
